In the Garage
Dan – Went to Alaska and shot a caribou. Met Daniel Grooters ( and “helped” with the race Xterra. Met @car_jeep and @rogueoverland. Then on a whim finally met Jerry from Tembo Tusk. Cut my roof rack in half to add 12″. Went to the Hammers. Saw awesome things. Also saw the new Bronco. Met one of the Gary’s from the NWJeepcast team. Had Covid but survived. Still don’t know where I’m moving to this summer. Installed Milestar Patagonia A/T Rs on the Ram truck.
Rich – Failed Decked drawers attempt. Installing a lower profile antenna for the GMRS radio. Putting Softopper back on.

FEEDBACK –
@lostkingman regarding the fuel tank from the gift guide
PS – talking about factory fuel tanks my 2019 F150 has the extended range tank that is 36 gallons giving a 700ish mile range. Thought you might find it interesting.

Why no mention/pics of this 3rd row before??? I’ve got all the stuff sitting in my garage to go in my JKU one of these days when I get around to it. Definitely gonna destroy any storage for sure tho.

hi dan. listened to every episode and love the show! saw this meme and started cracking up at the xj stereotype. Keep making an awesome show and tell rich one of my life goals is to meet him. i’m so thankful for your show dan, it’s completely changed my outlook on camping and exploring. every night my girlfriend gets an earful about everything learned today on the 4×4 podcast. I have a 2008 Explorer that i always shamed for not being capable but now i shame myself for that outlook. even though the aftermarket is terrible and i can’t for the life of me fit 33s on it, i still drive it up the moutain and have a blast cooking dutch oven pizza! Hope to meet you and crew someday
