The SEMA Show is the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world. It draws the industry’s brightest minds and hottest products to one place, the Las Vegas Convention Center. In addition, the SEMA Show provides attendees with educational seminars, product demonstrations, special events, networking opportunities and more.
There is way more to see and do than any one person could accomplish in the duration of the show. Its also not all just offroading related products so maybe you could see everything you wanted to see. For this episode we’ve enlisted the help of someone would actually made it to the show. The idea was to make every aspect of this truck better than before, so the first thing the engineers did after stripping and upgrading every inch of the frame and suspension was to stuff a brand-new 5.3-liter E-Rod V-8 crate motor (336 horsepower and 350 pounds-feet of torque) from the GM Performance catalog (Part No. 19258004) and mate it to a corporate 4L70E automatic transmission. – Photo and caption credit to pickuptruck.com

Utilizing the Trailhawk 4×4 package as a base, the Trail Carver was accented with “Auburn Pearl” paint with low-gloss black and “Granite Crystal” trimmings. The unique Trailhawk hood and roof map-styled graphics were bordered with “Crush Orange,” with some orange tow hooks to top it off. The RDS-Series is offered with the patented Hybrid Spot optic which projects a 10° conical beam of light. The typical straight bar projects a 10° beam. This year at SEMA, Flowmaster shared with us some of their expanded line of cat-back exhaust systems as well, with many applications fitting up to new 2014 vehicles and trucks.
The JRide system uses electronic system adjusts compression and rebound within one-tenth of a second. This is done by using electronically controlled valves mounted to the shocks.
