We explored the Mojave Road from West to east

Ran the road from West to East but the book is written to travel the other way.
- Missed the triangles
- Mojave River crossing was first real obstacle
- Afton Canyon and the geologic features
- Soda lake and the travelers monument – camped on the edge of lake at Cow Mountain
- Saw Zxyzx resort at a distance
- Mojave mailbox and frog shrine
- Saw Marl Spring
- Saw Mojave camp but it was full of people so we kept traveling
- Missed the lava tubes
- Government holes but it’s just one well
- Checked out the homestead but it’s going off hantavirus rat turds
- Joshua tree Forest
- Flew past the penny can tree by accident and didn’t even see it
- Watson Wash Hill climb vs “drop in”
- Saw where the old school bus used to be but it’s long gone
- To the incorrect detour around the flooded area
- Skipped fort piute due to time. Good thing we did too based on tire failures
- Piute River basin
- Colorado River
Learned a lot about tires as we have 4 of the 10 tires (2 were on the trailer) on the trip fail.
